First of all, the art has been consistently excellent for 5 issues consecutively... ya gotta luv dat!

Kate Kildare is a very intriguing character to rank an 'interview' plot device before all The Order members. Expecting big things from her too. On top of the debatably brilliant media maneuver she did to help BritneyAralune.

The BLACK DAHLIAS is a very intriguing team that rank sole cover spotlight in this title's infancy. Expecting big things with the connection to Mullholland Black. They made for a brilliant revealed connection not once but BOTH times!

Tony Stark is very overexposed character. Expecting some continuity damage control... but not very soon. It's really annoying not getting more other title references/footnotes in his own mag! I'm not a skrull, I'm handled by too many writers. Here he looked drunk at first but turns out he was just sporting his old school frivolous demeanor. This really seemed odd in this current post-SHRA state and jarring to read. On the other hand his value of friendship is well presented towards Anthem.

Speaking of continuity and friendship... Ya gotta luv Calamity. He not only forgives a drunk ex-schoolmate who ruined his life but recommends him for The Intiative. And then he rushes off to save, Corona, a 'drunk' ex-teammate in a visually brilliant sequence. Plus, Corona spouts a powerful oneline in a, mid-issue mind you, cliffhanger moment. "Ruh..." And you find yourself just finishing the intrinsically appropriate plea: "RUN!". Are that Calamity's days numbered? He says he trained for a year - but don't the heroes 'burn out' in a year?

Even Pepper Potts infers her time is up in a year. Hopefully, as Hera she might be finished but the characters bioforms can be stabilized to be normal human again. She may not retain her fountain of information but it'd be sad to lose her from the pages of Iron Man too so soon after Happy. Speaking of information but the solicit said 'we learn a scoonch more about the mysterious M.A.N. from S.H.A.D.O.W.' but I missed it. Anyone catch it?

Veda might be trying to go incognito but the scarf and shades aren't going to do it if she can't hide the booty her fans treasure.

About Dennis Murray: Was it Neil Diamond who said, He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother... I got nothing.

The CSI scene with Supernaut gave him a bit more character. The turtle mystery was a great teaser for a future story. Out of the blue, and just to give the established Butte, Cactus, & Gila less campy corniness, hoping that Turtle Monster turns out to be a Minion of Dominus. Back to Milo, his copycat-Iron-Man-annual#1 save is what excites me about his cover capture next issue and presumably his 'interview'.

How was it?
