Subj: The ORDER #8: Noteworthy... [SPOILERS] Posted: Tue Feb 26, 2008 at 07:28:02 am EST (Viewed 3 times) | Reply Subj: In All the Excitement... Posted: Tue Feb 26, 2008 at 05:08:37 pm EST
The Order #8 http://www.marvel.com/news/comicstories.2617.Weekend_Preview~colon~_The_Order_%238 ![]() Some character reactions... s p o i l e r s Not much reaction to this series on the MBs. True, it was a horrible cover decision here but can NOT believe this title is apparently marked for cancellation. It is repeatedly seems among TOP Marvel titles with it's story and art for months now! Mullholland Black Kooky power but cooly handled and her being under scrutiny by opposing parties all issue was symmetrically stimulating. So she remembers House Of M here? Her power re-emergence was handled smartly and very dramatically. So, now there's another confirmed way of restory mutancy, eh? Her promise at the end begs interest in keeping her around. Plus, if they can turn Stark's tech off - maybe the ORDER won't die in a year? What an 'shattering' turn of events with this issue! Anthem He continues as an impressive leader. His calvary arrival in the sky over Softly's shoulder was a great layout decision. And carrying around the protoLMD-head shows superhero competency demanded instead of just pawning/delegating it to a generic gov't analyst. Plus he packs quite the energy punch. Calamity Had to go back and double check he appeared. Surprised it took him or the team this long to locate the fallen teammates. And that looked SO odd him 'flying' over Anthem's right shoulder in that panel. Between him, Veda and Heavy wish he'd gotten at least a juicy line or neat FX scene. Veda She was there doing background or something. Heavy She was there doing background or something. Supernaut Never say die guy. Survivor guy. Smart guy. Cool move guy (reminds me the time Vision merged with Hulk to save Banner). In the end a stand-up guy (pun intended)!! Aralune Bwuh. Poor girl. Her next issue cover solicit has me extra worried for her. Maybe she suffers as karmic symmetry to Milo healing? Hera Pepper Potts better not go into Limbo if the series crashes. She would do well as 50Team Central coordinator or as interesting addition to any specific team. Just change the codename! Or add to it to differentiate from the goddess - maybe Happy Hera (yes, as nod to dead hub) STARK    Wow. This S.H.D.O. revelation and their mission statement fits sooo well in the SHRA-MU. Their parallels and plans bring logic and direction (too late for the series?). Read the issue to enjoy all the details and historical points. Tony's armchair quarterbacking really works and makes him look good here.    Revealing Tony's unseen nemesis was really a neat surprise! Had heard he was going to be introduced as a villain and this is the perfect place. He comes across as Amadeus Cho in looks and The Hood in nasty. Woah, seriously just noted his T-Shirt as this is being typed. He ended it all quite nicely, yes, "Good meeting, everyone." Especially meeting the noteworthy: Mr STANE Jr.! ![]() Is everyone else still not into this title? Enter a caption contest: ![]() Comment on BATO #4: ![]()
