...the issue, displeasing.

VANGUARD:
Decent figure drawing that was in no way highlighted by the absence of virtually all background. From PrevPage VANGUARD—BLADE, YELENA BELOVA, MICROMAX, DOMINIC FORTUNE—are revealed to STACY DOLAN gather that the group name is confirmed to be Vanguard(along with Madame Retcon?) which wouldve been nicer to do so instory. Find myself having to ask, does anyone care to see Xavier(Illuminati? Fury? Invaders?) mention or show knowledge of Colonel America in a conversation/comparison anytime soon? Blade's killing the guy was kind of a shock, his SHRA status/consideration should be mentioned by now. Yelena being used is still a shock. Villainizing Micromax and supersizing his potential to take out The Thing single handed was a shock. No more details/wisdom of Mdm Retcon was a disappointing shock. And of course, the shock ending was... a shock.

MACHINE MAN:
Find myself once again having to, also, ask for someone to please clear up MM chronology as this unclear(?) retcon(?) past(?) adventure quintology continues. Or to rephrase: WHAT THE HECK?! Can't even say if it's good or bad 'cuz cant figure out what's going on. Mystery can be good storytelling but 2 issues of unclarity can also be frustrating to pay for.

DEADPOOL:
*sigh* Wolverine Origins negated DP's real character development by returning him to his Looney Tune bad guy wannabe status. This story dumped more banal ninja nullifying nonsense with a gratuitous decapitation thrown in. And of course, Deadpool is a hero so there was *sarcasm on* no need *sarcasm off* to know details about 'the mark'. Here's 2 pages:

WEAPON OMEGA:
"Well, this was exciting stuff, eh?" ...*sarcasm on* That quote seemed spot on. *sarcasm off*

It looks like Pointer can visualize all the mutant abilities he has absorbed - though no narration explaining for first four pages.
It looks like Michael Pointer can now 'access' a particular power/person but readers aren't shown more than the back of a redhead.
It looks like Dr. Benning has presumably gained Pointer's trust and the scientist have lost trust in the him and his Guardian-Suit to be wearing new tech duds.
It looks like Tony Stark relies on ESPer units, doesnt trust Agent Brown or his evasive conferencing.
It looks like Agent Brown has enough pull to cause SHIELD trouble and may be a threat to USAgent recovering though it may have all just been an empty threat.
It looks like a character w/mental link to Pointer, may or may not be Dr. Benning has disconnected John Walker from hospital ICU machine to either help him or hurt him.
It looks like the other more interesting members of Omega Flight, Rachel, Shroud, the supervillains targetted were not necessary to spice up this chapter though that is highly debatable.
It looks like un/fortuantely only 2 more hopeful chapters to commit to and to go to clear up this storyline that is more fizzling than sizzling.

Discuss Iron Fist & MI13 titles too!
