Just before SI started, Skrulls sabotaged the SHIELD Magic Ops/Paranormal Containment Unit courtesy of Agent Crimson who is a skrull.

Tony then assigned Hulkbusters to New Mexico (as it should be) correcting or reassigning Mavericks (whoever they are) that wikipedia reveals will be the FSI team (as reported in ^ In Myspace Mycup O' Joe Blog Week 12).

Agent Quartermain, Agent Crimson and Agent Cheesecake will be joined by 3 more recruits of AMB choice.


One of the plotlines reveal an origins connection between Cheesecake's syntha-derm and that skrull second skin shown during those SI substitution sequences.

During the course of this proposed series, they can battle Gamma Corps (theyre out to get Stark), The Warbound (to arrest Kate Waynesboro for court martial), Last Defenders (over a comical misunderstanding concerning a Clay/Jen past tryst), Zom (was there enough closure after WWH), Red Hulk (if the who-is-he mystery still applies), etc.
