Preview: Deadpool #2

> Deadpool #2. Wow. Definition of entertainment.

AGREED.
>
> He is hilarious throughout the issue. DP forces a whole skrull clone army himself to kill other skrulls and then themselves. All while having the Skrulls believe he was just mentally ill and not an ingenious plan.

Bugs Bunny funny for sure. Raises serious concerns though:

Is this scene from an actual issue of killing?

Who's the guy with an A on his chest? And what happened to Killebrew?

Who's the fat guy? And does anyone have an URL or educated guess of any SI timeline yet of skrull progress, in days elapsed at least, between titles? The past newspaper article implies at least 36hours from zero hour in SI#1 (plus the 24 hours elapsed in this issue)?

Did anyone understand the point of the 'speak into the translator' ploy?

"...one of the most secure places..." THAT'S called hyperbole, right? There's been so many internal death and destruction INSIDE Cheyene Mountain post-CW! Besides that's not saying much considering security in the MU. \:-\)

24 hours?! Sheesh. The human victory better be a definitive one to believe the skrulls are defeated with THIS degree of "fast food" tech threat. Be nice to have an instory comment that the super-dp-skrulls were created soooo quickly because of DP's unique metabolism gene.

> Workin with Nick Fury is great bc I feel like Fury will eventually be the one to save the world anyway.

Agreed. That was a wonderful surprise finale too!
>
> So far one thing I think is very cool is the biggest "heroes" (or at least killed the most Skrulls so far) looks something like this:
>
> Norman Osborn
> Venom
> Bullseye
> Deadpool
> Black Panther

Disagree about Venom and Bullseye. Would add Pete Wisdom's NO MORE SKRULLS puts him at the top of the list. Ms Marvel also took out a whole phalanx(?) of super/skrulls in an (unintentionally) comedic way. Of course it must be noted, Hercules took out the skrull's god! Agent Brand blew up a shipfull of 'em too.
>
> Pretty sure if you would have asked me a year ago who I thought might have been the biggest contributors to stopping a Skrull invasion were I would not have picked any of those characters.

And if the skrulls didnt take Sentry out of the picture in SI#1 who knows what damage he wouldve done by now. It is very unrealistic and annoying, at this point, to have so few superhero casualties to balance the scales - at least DP has an good excuse for not dying. ;-\)
> Regardless I love it.

Also...

Quick read.
Loved the cover.
"Don't leave me hanging." \:D
Loved the sinister laugh slip up.
The whole hari kari scenes and squadron battle went on a little boringly long with the same sword schticking though.
Missed the meaning of "Rob". \:\(
Hopeful that his Fury teamup signifies acknowledgement of his newfound maturity from the C&DP ending.
Disappointed by no supporting cast yet; couldve used an interlude or mention of Outlaw, Sandi, Alex, or Bob!
Worth $3.05 comparitively.

Dane too!Batgirl too!
Blaze too!Ororo too!

I miss you, Dan. I miss you, Dan. I miss you, Dan.
