Agree with Blargh here,
http://www.comicboards.com/app/show.php?msg=mub-2009020505074021 ,
that the bonus material actually enhances the story, if not the whole MU, quite a lot. Setting up a blueprint for SHIELD operations was obviously a lot of invested energy into this premiere. However, any contradictions to known SHIELD facts could prove as annoying as the new handbook facts prove intriguing. There is a lot to review and absorb! (Maybe someone can post some of a bonus page or two for discussion.)

Really hope Fury sticks with the white hair from now on. Very distinctive. Also, comparing his leadership style to Professor Xavier could prove thought provoking. Fury made this issue! None of the Secret Warriors team have become that interesting since their recent Avengers debut. Well, Daisy is okay (except for the fact that she looks like Maria Hill).

J.T. obviously has an attitude for some unkown so hard to relate reason. The reason why his scenes worked okay was because of the way Daisy and Fury handled him.

The others who fought HYDRA came across as generic players.

And more annoying than godboy Phobos, on the team, is the continued writer by writer interpretation of the international status of SHIELD. Though meeting with President Obama was nice for 1st issue inclusion.

The ending was excellent!! Good 1st issue!
(And ooobviously he is self-appointed undercover.)

Reserving judgment on this AGENT OF NOTHING tagline but the http://www.agentofnothing.com website is boss and evidence of more entertaining hard work put into the title. Though the password on the next nice theme cover doesnt seem to be working ATM:
