Surprised the series had to last this long. Flipflopped on this cover but in the end probably a good choice to go with but the series couldve been farrrrr better paced as a trilogy than quintology.

Surprised how much the final installment was so satisfying and heartwarming. Found the art offputting on the LCS shelf for the first two but tried 4 and found it actually enhanced the story flavor. And the evocative framing just helped showcase it. Still, not sure if it works for a monthly superhero title...

Surprised how the characters actually grew to be likable after there annoying intros as they reach a maturity from this adventure. It really felt, well, real. Their cheering at the graduation gave a tingle. Would like to see Brandon, Amanda, and/or Andrew in a present story now but feel happy with the closure even if they never appear again. Ditto with Mary Margaret and Hellspawn Hunter(good for a name?).

Surprised that, if #1 and #2 are at a flea market, will scoop 'em to see if there's a chance Mary Margaret could be angelic and not mutant in origin, more background on HH, and some clarification on the scene if/when God talked to Warren.

Surprised, AFAIK, that Angel has never had a conversation with Nightcrawler about religion. Or have they? It'd be a good character interlude after some lengthy battle sequences/issues. Especially since now the X-men have a church AND a chapel to patron and it was noted that Warren probably financed both on top of it. He's probably trying to repent before it's too late and maybe a few team up with Tandy Bowen might be a show of good faith \:-\) .

Surprised to imagine that Warren apparently turned his back on God and stopped with the praying (as seen on page 4 panel 2 above and the pontificating here: http://www.comicboards.com/app/image.php?msg=xmb-2008092801164624&att=angel5angel.JPG&fullsize=yes ). Evidenced by his hedonistic playboy lifestyle and repeated difficulty of shed the evil skin of his blasphemous named persona: Archangel.

Surprised Angel 3 did soooo poor in sales last month considering it was more entertaining than the top 6! http://www.comicboards.com/app/image.php?msg=xmb-2008092801164624&att=angel4results.JPG&fullsize=yes Solo title is the way to go with The Angel character; espeically with good efforts like Revelations. Unfortunatelyk, these results proves this opinion wrong. \:\(

Surprised to be going with such childish art for my 50th submission but this was a cool story moment and seems a 'gold star' banner image. Hope you like it...
