Reinforcing Fantastic Four #511, "Jack" (as in Kirby reference) appears again as The One Above All, a.k.a. The Fulcrum in Eternals #9. Interestingly, although perhaps hyperbole on the Fulcrum's part, he says that the Dreaming Celestial rivals him in power.

Is Gaimen still writing this? If so I'd say this is unraveling continuity for the sake of hiring name-brand writers. Short term buck, long term damage.

Any sub-universal force, would be many, many levels below the One Above All/God.

This is the sort of thing that renders any discussion on the battleboard moot - there is no continuity, history, that can be referenced/respected anymore.

Before you jump to conclusions, Gaiman did not write this issue. Charles and Daniel Knauf did. And while in the previous issue, it was a conceit that the X-Men could take on an equal number of Eternals primarily based on their excellence in teamwork and strategy, the story in this issue is elegantly put together (except for the part where Tiamut removes his helmet to reveal a humanoid head). Frankly, we've never seen the limits of the Dreaming Celestial's full power, so it's hard to say. We have seen another Celestial, Scathon, do something beyond even the Living Tribunal in defeating Protege. The One Above All even addresses this in a way in this issue. In the scan, he talks about having watched "other Celestials change and evolve into beings of greater power" so Scathan could be one such Celestial. In any case, it's an interesting idea that the progression of the Dreaming Celestial's character arc is to become the first companion to TOAA since this latest version of his Creation.
