Can someone please give me the lowdown on these two issues. I have to wait till monday and I would rather know now. thanks

BOOSTER GOLD:
Booster and Skeets end up in DC 1,000,000 and encounter Peter Platinum, who's basically the 1M version of Booster Gold (sell-out, commercialized superhero and total sell-out) but they're quickly retrieved by Rip Hunter. He quits as Rip's Time Master and returns to usual life. He fights the Royal Flush Gang in Vegas, then Batman summons Booster to talk at the Batcave. After Booster pours his heart about being a loser, Bats shows him the photos from the Joker's camera from the night he shot Barbara. Batman's known all these years that Booster tried to stop Joker but couldn't, and he basically wins Batman's respect as a result (even gets a smile and a handshake). Booster returns to Rip's lair and agrees to be a Time Master, when who should appear...but Booster's dead sister Michelle, who was retrieved by Rip before she died (the rules of time aren't as strict since Booster and Michelle are from the future). So the book is now "The Adventures of Booster Gold and his sister" as they'll be up to shenanigans in the timescape. The epilogue features an unknown figure getting their hands on the Black Beetle's Scarab and the tech of Ted Kord; upon seeing it, the figure lets out a "BWA-HA-HA!"

Oh, and the last thing we see Rip Hunter says in the issue, as Booster and Michelle take off in the time sphere, is "Go get 'em dad."

FINAL CRISIS REQUIEM:
It expands on MM's death from Final Crisis #1 and his funeral from #2. This shows how they doped him up and what happens after he's stabbed: as he's dying he fills the villains' heads with illusions of their violent deaths at the hands of the heroes, and also touches the minds of Batman, Superman, Black Canary, Hal Jordan and a 5th hero (Echo from JLA, was it?) so that they can record his history, and the history of Mars - which they do as they sleepwalk (something about how love and memories are strongest in the unconscious mind). I think Tomasi even manages to crossover his Nightwing story (where dead people are being graverobbed and found all over Gotham) as it's Dick who finds the dead body of J'onn. And the last thing we see - which, dammit, actually succeeded in making me cry - is Batman place a Choco cookie on his coffin and saying "Goodbye, old friend."

So Tomasi, who loves the Martian Manhunter and presents probably the best goodbye a comic book hero has ever gotten (as well as lots of references to Ostrander's MM series, which Tomasi edited), basically made me hope J'onn stays dead, because otherwise this beautiful book would be negated.
