> Let me just start out by saying, this issue is going to be controversial in how people take the fight scenes. Overall I think while Pak and Lente did dig themselves somewhat into a hole there are reasonable explanations for everything that happened.

Let me just start out by saying read and typed my PBP before coming to the TMB. Now, get to enjoy all these reactions - starting with your in depth post. In the meantime will just add my PBP to this thread...

Wow! Three for three so far! Uncanny, Trinity and now Herc! Sure, the art wasnt as good as the other 2 but it had it's familiar air that made it serviceable for the story. And what a story! SI:Inhumans was good because it nicely showcased the Inhumans with SI as a backdrop and not just repeated elements of SI. Whereas this actually, and surprisingly, spotlighted the SI Event itself with soooo MANY big happenings/reveals that SURPRISINGLY wasnt shared among the other crossover/main titles. There were some story concerns but overall this issue was definitely was worth the cover price...

Excellent cover.

One of most entertaining Prev Pages since the demise of C&DP series.

The whole Sl'gur't vs Miskaboshi and Atum (NOT a fan still) was too unclearly presented for my tastes. But the final result was intriguing.

The conclusion of the fight 'tween Kly'bn vs Ajak ended unclearly but with an obvious victor.

The bone hitting or piercing Cho was unclear, especially with the blood pattern but the danger to the genius was felt.

The fight between Herc and the god was generic but it was their dialogue during that was revealing/entertaining. "TOO BAD YOU'RE NOT MY TYPE." \:D

The characterization of Amadeus hasnt been a favorite but his narration was very entertaining here and his sacrifice foretold him was perfect.

The... no, no buts about this page it was incredible:

The panel with the spine was just kind of oddly there(yes, obvious remains but still conveniently placed) but page showing what Narya does with it makes an incredible splash.

The moment Wisdom said, "No more skrulls." was leary of the chaos magic but am now thinking it might be simultaneous with this:

The self destruct sequence was cliche but the reuniting of the trio was heartwarming.

The recap of Herc was important to the story but seems to contradict the story going on in Eternals where the Celestials arranged for Earth Eternals to maintain a population of 100 but meanwhile on Skrullos it is only 1...

The final fakeform, villainous vow, and Athena's awareness made a most compelling ending buuut got to wait a month to see what happens!!
