McKeever really isn't a very good writer, is he? Jaime is officially a Titan now but that was the only good point in the whole book, besides the fill in art. Barrows is quite good but his type of stylization isn't quite my cup of tea. There are some areas where Rodriguez isn't as good as Barrows in a technical sense but I enjoyed it more. It's the story that was complete and utter crap. The dialog didn't seem to fit characters, the forced bad feelings between Beetle and Devil, and the lack of anything but just rankled. And did anyone else not think the boys had kissed and made up before it was stated so in the last page or two? I assume McKeever thinks he made it clear in the story, he was wrong and should be replaced before this book gets any more unreadable and unrecognizable.

I know I sound like a broken record about McKeever but this volume of Teen Titans is very important to me, being directly responsible alongside New Avengers for getting me to collect comics again. I will not be driven off it by a bad writer. I weathered Johns' sub-par run OYL and I can last until McKeever's replaced. It's just a pain to do some issues.

It wasnt that bad. Seems a standard teamup tale....

Thought the art was quite good also. The layouts flowed. Did NOT like ANY of Jaime's characterization or dialogue at all, either (seems off from his title). But glad he was there and he's a Titan now, too. The the last page was bonus fun when the previous splash couldve easily sufficed as the ending.

As with Marus, am intrigued what the writer's take on Static Shock will be.

Robin's contribution was generic enough that he didnt irk with his interpretation. And Cassie and M'gann cameo worked as such.

The issue was all Kid Devil. To me he's tabula rasa enough that this development was fine. His powers and identity got significant/reasonable advancement for the cover price. Glad he took it upon himself to go after Shockwave - there are too many loose ends with DC crimefighting of late and this worked out great.

Really liked the title page. How it fits perfectly into part of the story AND added significance of the title later revealed.

Things that bugged:
-the anomousity on Jaime's part
-Tim working out with his mask on
-Shockwave getting away with SEVEN major city massive attacks
-the PC support for BB weren't named
-that sooooo many influencial friends and super peers of Ted Kord would let Kord Ind. get taken
-thought the 100 have long since grown into the 1000
-thought BB would know KD's real name
-that Speedy would be considered to return
-WG was boring
-thought Aquagirl was dead or removed from DCU
-worry over what breed they pick for Wonderdog (havent read #34: http://www.titanstower.com/source/whoswho/wendyandmarvin.html)
