asks Griggs for 24 hours to decide. At another point Daredevil is in
a bar talking with Spider-Man, after leaving the bar, he saves an old
lady from a mugger, discovers that Spider-Man has been watching him.

are watching Elaine on tv, Foggy tells Matt that having Elaine do

Merchant's Bank of Manhattan and tries to stop Jester. Jester throws
the "bomb" at Daredevil revealing it to contain flour, and

to her staff, Rene and Brad. And finally decides that they need to
hold a press conference the next day. At the press conferecne, Kate
shows her abilities as a lawyer, but when a buglar alarm goes off
nearby, Daredevil rushes to the company, desttoying a window, only to
learn that the alarm was a test of a new device)

Kendricks comes to Foggy & Matt with info that Samuel Griggs has

they were together that night, but Griggs told her she was wrong with
a very convincing voice, as he believed it himself. Marlene tells the
lawyers that she will lie if they put her on the stand, but that is
the truth. Matt & Foggy goes to see Griggs, but he only tells
them that Marlene is a nice but confused girl. Two days later at the
offices of Nelson & Murdock a witness called Bradlee comes and
tells them that he saw Daredevil and the ninjas the night in
questioning at Griggs house. goes to see Dr. Quaid. There he meets
Dr. Quaid who is revealed as his old enemy The Matador, The Matador
orders his assistant Ilsa to attack Daredevil. He manage to defeat
Ilsa and brings The Matador to Griggs' office, there he tells Griggs
that he now knows the truth, but both Matador and Griggs says they
don't know each other, Griggs tells him that The Matador is not
Arnold Quaid. After discovering tihs was a dead end, he returns to
Dr. Quaid's office, trying to work out just who is behind all this)

situation by saying that he couldn't tell her about the imposter,
since that would mean that she perpetrating fraud, he alos reveals
that he had no idea who Terrence Hillman was. Later the same night,
he pays Hillman a visit. Hillman reveals that he did impersonate
Daredevil on his own hand, to try to get some work as "the
former Daredevil" and to impress a girl. The next day Daredevil
meets with Spider-Man and the two of them have a short conversation.
Kate calls Daredevil and tells him that Dr. Quaid wants to meet with
him. He goes to Dr. Quaid's new office, where he in introduced to the
doctor. The doctor greets his guest, and then pulls off his mask
revealing himself to be the Ringmaster. His plan was to see if he
could make his new Ultimate False Memory Syndrome technology work.
After having revealed himself, he tosses Daredevil out. Daredevil
knows he can't do anything to Ringmaster. He later visits Kate,
telling her that it was Ringmaster who was behind it all. After that
Daredevil tries to invite Kate out for a drink, but she refuses on
the basis that she still feels let down by him, for not telling her
the truth about Daredevil and the imposters. Later the same night

not only is his human body teleported away to the ship in the pocket

anti-gravity device, but needs his wings to navigate. These wings,
which appears and disappears, are attached between his waists and
arms. The edges are sharp enough to cut someone or thing. His optic
sensors have night vision and telescopic abilities. The android body

speak at all. Later Peter tries to talk to Stella, she doesn't say
anything but draws a picture of Spider-man. Peter has thereby a way
to get through to the young girl, by using Spider-Man. Later that
night Peter goes to the Derleth House as Spider-Man, and wakes Stella
up and takes her out with him in the city. Suddenly they sees three
robbers with shotguns, and Spider-Man places the young girl on top of
a building, while he fights off the robbers. When one of the robbers
is about to shoot Spider-Man, Stella finally yells "Look Out!",

attracted to her strength of character and beauty). Later he explains
he fights the white man because his wars threaten Atlantis, but Betty
convinces Subby that Americans are good and noble. From that point on
Betty is frequently seen adventuring and fighting with Namor, as well
