Later Samuel Griggs comes to hire Murdock to sue Daredevil. He gets an offer he can't turn down,when Griggs offers 100.000$ to the foundation of the junior blind if Nurdock sees the case through, he asks Griggs for 24 hours to decide. At another point Daredevil is in a bar talking with Spider-Man, after leaving the bar, he saves an old lady from a mugger, discovers that Spider-Man has been watching him. Later when Spider-Man fights three people, watchesto see if he needs help, learns that there is no problem)
Daredevil Vol.2 #21 (Matt calls Foggy to tell him that he has decided to take the case. They comes to visit Samuel Griggs at his house, hoping that he will try not to make a huge case out of the coming trial only to discover that Griggs has lots of reporters at his house. Later at the offices of Nelson & Murdock, Elaine Kendricks tells Matt that she thinks that putting a trial against Daredevil is brave, and tells him that she will help anyway she can. Matt tells her that at the firm they likes initiative. Later when Daredevil helps a lady from a few muggers, she wishes him good luck with the trial. Matt and Foggy are watching Elaine on tv, Foggy tells Matt that having Elaine do something like that on her own is a mistake, and it was a mistake to hire her, but Matt tells him, that he actually encouraged her to do something like that. Two days later, Daredevil comes to the Merchant's Bank of Manhattan and tries to stop Jester. Jester throws the "bomb" at Daredevil revealing it to contain flour, and Jester tries to run away. Daredevil manage to capture him, only to learn what the real reason gfor Jester's "performance" was, it was to hand him the lawsuit from Samuel Griggs.)
Daredevil Vol.2 #22 (After Jester has handed Daredevil the legal documents, Daredevil tries to get Jester arrested, but an attorney tells him that they can't arrest him, since Jester clearly stated it wasn't a robbery only a performance. Foggy and Matt comes down on Elaine for using a criminal, but Elaine defends herself by saying that Jester is an ex-convict who has served his time, and that everybody deserves a second chance, the two guys admits that she is infact correct. Later when looking for a lawyer, is introduced to Kate Vinokur, who tells him that the only problem she sees is her fee, she charges 250$ an hour. Daredevil relieved that it wasn't a question of his secret identity finally has found his lawyer. She introduces him to her staff, Rene and Brad. And finally decides that they need to hold a press conference the next day. At the press conferecne, Kate shows her abilities as a lawyer, but when a buglar alarm goes off nearby, Daredevil rushes to the company, desttoying a window, only to learn that the alarm was a test of a new device)
Daredevil Vol.2 #23 (Daredevil visits friends to help raise money, among others T'Challa king of Wakanda. He then publicly states, that he has now collected 100.000$ which shall be donated to children, if and when Mr. Griggs drops the lawsuit. At Nelson & Murdock Foggy and Matt tires to get Samuel Griggs to drop the case. Later Elaine Kendricks comes to Foggy & Matt with info that Samuel Griggs has a lover named Marlene Belden. They goes to see her. She tells them that they were indeed together than night, but after he called someone he left. When the lawsuit began, Marlene told Griggs that they were together that night, but Griggs told her she was wrong with a very convincing voice, as he believed it himself. Marlene tells the lawyers that she will lie if they put her on the stand, but that is the truth. Matt & Foggy goes to see Griggs, but he only tells them that Marlene is a nice but confused girl. Two days later at the offices of Nelson & Murdock a witness called Bradlee comes and tells them that he saw Daredevil and the ninjas the night in questioning at Griggs house. goes to see Dr. Quaid. There he meets Dr. Quaid who is revealed as his old enemy The Matador, The Matador orders his assistant Ilsa to attack Daredevil. He manage to defeat Ilsa and brings The Matador to Griggs' office, there he tells Griggs that he now knows the truth, but both Matador and Griggs says they don't know each other, Griggs tells him that The Matador is not Arnold Quaid. After discovering tihs was a dead end, he returns to Dr. Quaid's office, trying to work out just who is behind all this)

He tries to get a contact to Dr. Quaid through Griggs, telling him that Quaid can always get in contact with him on his bipper. After the trial Kate and Daredevil have a conversation. She feels she has been lied to, but Daredevil saves the situation by saying that he couldn't tell her about the imposter, since that would mean that she perpetrating fraud, he alos reveals that he had no idea who Terrence Hillman was. Later the same night, he pays Hillman a visit. Hillman reveals that he did impersonate Daredevil on his own hand, to try to get some work as "the former Daredevil" and to impress a girl. The next day Daredevil meets with Spider-Man and the two of them have a short conversation. Kate calls Daredevil and tells him that Dr. Quaid wants to meet with him. He goes to Dr. Quaid's new office, where he in introduced to the doctor. The doctor greets his guest, and then pulls off his mask revealing himself to be the Ringmaster. His plan was to see if he could make his new Ultimate False Memory Syndrome technology work. After having revealed himself, he tosses Daredevil out. Daredevil knows he can't do anything to Ringmaster. He later visits Kate, telling her that it was Ringmaster who was behind it all. After that Daredevil tries to invite Kate out for a drink, but she refuses on the basis that she still feels let down by him, for not telling her the truth about Daredevil and the imposters. He can also fly thanks to a anti-gravity device, but needs his wings to navigate. These wings, which appears and disappears, are attached between his waists and arms. The edges are sharp enough to cut someone or thing. His optic sensors have night vision and telescopic abilities. The android body can only regenerate when it's back in it's matrix chamber. Which is why Powell needs to get to his human body and back for the healing effect to take place

Later he explains he fights the white man because his wars threaten Atlantis, but Betty convinces Subby that Americans are good and noble.
