Doctor Sun somehow incurred the wraith of a general who held power in
the government. The general had Sun convicted on unknown charges and
sentenced to death. The general decided to make Sun himself the test
subject for Project: Mind. Doctors caused Sun's heart to stop and
then immediatly removed his brain, and placed it within a receptable

linked Sun's brain to a network of computer networks. Drawing upon
the electrical energy in the computers, Sun then attacked the doctors
with blasts of psionic force. The super-villain Doctor Sun was born
and after he had forced a number of people in China to work for him,
he left China to begin his quest for world domination.
