America's Principles", where Captain America is being

with him since all of it was a lie. He decides to pay the leader of
the campaign a visit. Captain America comes to the office of
"Commitee To Regain America's Principles" at Madison
Avenue. Harderman's secretary tells Captain America, that Harderman
doesn't see anyone today, but Captain America tells her that he
insists. Captain America comes into Harderman's office, and learns
that Harderman is the man in the ad campaign. Harderman tells him
that he felt it appropriate, and that "The Committee" is
primarily a personal statement by himself personally. Harderman tells
Captain America that if he wants to prove him wrong, he could vcome
to a charity boxing match. Captain America tells him that it's a deal
and leaves. Harderman then calls someone [Tumbler] to tell him that
the plan is operative.. Later at the Exhibit Hall where the charity
boxing match is to take place, Harderman introduces the man Captain
America is about to fight as John Robert Keane. Captain America
realizes that the man is the Tumbler and Tumbler gets scarred, and

and Harderman takes Captain America to jail. Captain America wakes up
in his cell, outside the cell he hears Harderman and Moonstone
talking with the press. One of the reporters ask Moonstone about his
past, and he begins to tell him a tale about him being a janitor at a
small midwest university where he found the Moonstone, a story made
up by Harderman because Moonstone was never a janitor. After
Moonstone's tale, Harderman tells the press that he thinks they got
enough, and thanks them for coming. In flashback; Moonstone meets
with Harderman and Viper. Moonstone wants to join the "Committee
To Regain America's Principles", saying that he could be a
distinct asset to them, Viper and Harderman agrees, and Moonstone
joins the operation. Harderman tells Moonstone that Viper has been

smoothly". Suddenly an aircraft lands outside, and Harderman
tells Moonstone that their allies has arrived. After Captain America
has defeated Moonstone, Harderman comes rushing trying to save

Hawkeye had an arsenal of special arrows many
of which consisted of special arrowheads that could be attached to
ordinary target arrows. Among his special arrow included a silver
arrowhead to use against supernatual creatures such as werewolves and
vampires, and a vibranium arrow given to Hawkeye by the Black
Panther. Hawkeye also made use of magical arrows that were given to
the Avengers to deal with magicaly enhanced adversaries such as the
Wrecking Crew. Hawkeye became an excellent hand-to-hand combatant
under to tutorage of Captain America.
Hawkeye
had excellent leadership skills. He served as leader of the Avengers'
west coast branch, the Great Lakes Avenger (later the Lightning
Rods), and the Thunderbolts. As a result of a battle with the
subversive Crossfire, Hawkeye became 80% deaf in both ears. He wore
special minature hearing aids designed by Tony Stark. He no longer
needed them after he was resurrected on Counter-Earth II, created by
Franklin Richards. He still had no need of them when he returnd to his
proper world. Hawkeye had a heavly armored costume that he used when
he was shot by a handgun, he was wore it for a brief period and then
returned to his regular costume. He then wore its again when he tried
to settle his differences with the U.S.Agent. It is unclear if
Hawkeye incorperated bulletproof materials into his later
costumes.
