#1 (having
survived the Sentinel attack on New York City, Helen Takahama was
watching a news crew from the ruins she was about to go for them,
when she was attacked from behind by one of the Rat Pack's who used
chloroform against her to make her unconscious. Afterward he went
away with her, "telling" the uncounscience girl that it
wasn't personal, but he was looking for a person whom nobody would
miss. Number Fourteen is send out to get all he could get his hands
on from the people left in the ruins of New York City. Number
Fourteen called Number One, to tell him that he would join them soon.
He arrived at the place where alot of other Rat Pack members are
present, telling them that he had found a good load of furs, jewelry
and bare coins. Number One told his men, that they mustn't forget
that their employer's told them that they could keep scavenge, as
long as they kept on supplying him with what he wanted. Suddenly
Number One was interrupted by a voice. The voice belonging to a guy
in costume, claiming to be Citizen V. Number One told the guy that if
he was only armed with a sword, he would be no match for the Rat
Pack, who all began pointing their guns at him. Citizen V told them
that he wasn't alone, and the Thunderbolts appeared. The Rat Pack
members tried to gun the heroes down with their guns and rocket
launchers, but failed, most were taken down by the heroes, Number One
himself tries to escape, but was stopped by Citizen V. Suddenly he
cried "Rat Pack -- Mousehole", and jumped down in a hole,
the rest of the Rat Pack members also ran for the tunnels, and before
the Thunderbolts could follow them, the tunnel entrance exploded,
making the entrance collapse, and impossible for the Thunderbotls to
follow them. Later when the Thunderbolts held their first
press-conference, one of the reporters told them, that the Rat Pack
had been sighted several blocks away from where they last fought
them, and the Thunderbolts decided to go for them. When the
Thunderbolts arrived at the place where the Rat Pack had been seen,
Number One told his men, that they had been paid a bonus for this so
they should make it look good, and they started theur jet-packs and
seemingly tries to escape. The Thunderbolts followed them, until the
Rat Pack's plan were revealed, because the Thunderbolts were lead
rigth into the arms of the Wrecking Crew, and while the two teamns
began to fight the Rat Pack escaped)
