Synopsis: Funny Face and Angel face start tearing through gangsters, hunting for Mr Nobody and Spider-Girl--the two they hold responsible for Crazy Eight's death. MJ comes home from the hospital. Phil and Normie warn May about Funny Face breaking his mother out of jail. May is unconcerned. Feeling that her mother needs her more and that Spider-Girl will only get someone else killed, May passes on fighting the Faces. Peter and Julia Carpenter visit Jessica Drew, searching for her son. The new Spider-Man, Gerry Drew, is beating up some gangsters and trying to track down the faces. Darkdevil, though, pops in and give him advice about beating up criminals for information. Courtney warns May that Brad is going to beat up Jimmy. May shrugs it off as none of her business. Kingpin is angry at Nobody for shooting Crazy Eight, and sees this as an opportunity to ally himself with Canis against the Faces. Spider-Man, going all fanboy over Darkdevil, makes a temporary partnership with him to track down the Faces. Brad catches up with Jimmy but the fight is cut short by Moose. May checks on her mother who insists that she's going to live life on her own terms and not what life forces on her. More of Gerry Drew's origin is revealed as Jessica tells Peter and Julia that he's determined to live his final days to the fullest. May decides to take on the Faces, and calls on Phil to contact all the indy heroes he knows. Nancy Lu breaks up with JJ. The Buzz, Ladyhawk, Green Goblin, Raptor all gather around Spider-Girl to form a team to take down the Faces, the even NEWER New Warriors!

Synopsis: The New Warriors try to track down the Faces and run into the duo of Darkdevil and Spider-Man who are after them as well. Darkdevil, though, isn't thrilled with the idea of joining forces with the New Warriors. Reed Richards of the Fantastic Five thinks he can cure Gerry Drew's blood disease, and Peter is determined to become Spider-Man again to convince Gerry to go in for treatment. The New Warriors finally catch up to the Faces as they're trashing some gangsters and a big brawl erupts. Meanwhile, Canis visits Kingpin and the two form a non-aggression pact. As a gesture of goodwill, Kingpin releases Mr Nobody from his protection. The new Spider-Man (Gerry Drew) and Darkdevil catch up to Mr Nobody. Nobody gets the drop on them and is about to shoot them when the original Spider-Man swings up and knocks him out. Gerry goes from being indignant to being a gushing fanboy when he realizes it's his hero. Funny Face easily defeats the New Warrior. Spider-Girl takes Angel Face aside and offers her a deal. Darkdevil dissolves his partnership with Gerry Drew, and the original Spider-Man convinces Gerry to go in for treatment. The New Warriors freak out when they learn that Spider-Girl has "given the Faces a second chance" by letting them leave town. The team kicks Spider-Girl off the team for letting the two psychos free. May is down--she only wanted to break the circle of violence! Nancy Lu catches up with May, and apologizes for lashing out at her. "Everything's cool. We all make mistakes."

Synopsis: Peter modifies May's web shooters to include impact webbing and stingers. They get into a petty argument over keeping web fluid supply up. The New Warriors (including Darkdevil) all agree that Spider-Girl shouldn't be on the team. At Midtown High, May learns there's a thief who's robbing lockers. Charlie Philips, a wannabe superhero, has just designed a "magnetic harness." Peter picks May up for lunch, and explains the origin of Spider-Man. May feels even more guilty for having let the Faces go, and they make peace. Brad has a falling out with Moose, and the big man recruits Courtney to help him nab the locker robber. Charlie Philips tries to pick up his custom superhero costume at the shop, but goes ballistic with his magnetic harness when he can't pay the bill. Peter tells May about Ben Reilly and the origin of the second Spider-Man, leaving out all references to clones! Reilly Tyne gives legal counseling to Raptor and Normie, basically saying she's going to have to surrender and spend some time in jail. Following some sirens, Spider-Girl shows up at the costume shop and convinces Charlie Philips to stand down because "with great power should come an even greater sense of responsibility." Sensing something wrong with his daughter, Peter commissions a bionic leg from the F5 so he can help Spider-Girl fight crime. May returns to her locker at school and discovers that she's been robbed! An unrevealed thief is shown in an alley, pulling May's Spider-Girl costume out of her backpack.
