Synopsis: As the fire
department rushes to put out the fire caused by the bomb
that decimated the Web Site, Spider-Girl heads off home at Normie's
bequest. As she rushes home her Spider-Sense once again tingles, and
she reacts, but no one is there, which leads her to suspect that only
one could do this... then she freaks as her cell phone goes off.
Chastising herself for overreacting, she answers it, finding Davida on
the other line. Davida complains that she's still upset over Nancy's
supposed duplicity. Spider-Girl can't worry about it, as she suspects
two people who could possibly be stalking her; Darkdevil (who's still
missing), and Mr. Nobody.
Returning home, May finds her father going for a late-night snack after
dealing with little Benjamin. May confides to Peter about the Web Site,
and he reacts predictably. May gets him to focus on getting a line on
Mr. Nobody, last seen in Ryker's Prison. Peter does so, and the two
discover he's in solitary confinement, making Darkdevil the chief
suspect. But May doesn't buy it, saying that she knows what he feels
like; Peter discovers just how sensitive May's Spider-Sense is compared
to his, and is a bit impressed by it.
The next day at school, and May is feeling paranoid, looking over her
shoulder at every turn. Finding Davida, she tries to talk to her, but
Davida shuts her down, saying that something's changed in the past year
and May's grown distant, and suddenly May's Spider-Sense goes off.
Distracted once more, Davida notices and gives up, storming off, saying
that it's obvious that there's something that May can't... or won't...
share with her.
Meanwhile Normie tries to get into Ryker's Prison to visit Brenda, but
is turned away for the fourth time. Fustrated, Normie tries to call her
lawyet, but Reilly Tyne seems to have vanished. As Normie leaves two
shadowy figures watch on, plotting something unknown. Back at school
May's confronted by Nancy, who tells May that she didn't know Coach
Thompson would move Davida over to make room for her, and doesn't want
Davida to hate her. May's Spider-Sense hits again, directing her to
Davida, who spots May and Nancy talking. David leaves in a huff and
May's left to follow the Spider-Sense, finding Canis! Spider-Girl tells
Canis that Darkdevil may be mixed up in the crime lord murders. All
Canis knows... or wants to tell... is what Spider-Girl aleady knows,
about a South American gangster with designs on the Kingpin's empire.
Fed up, Spider-Girl decides to press for more information, by dangling
Canis off the roof of a building! Finding out that the mysterious
gangster's a heavyweight who's been trying to knock off the Kingpin for
years, Spider-Girl is left to wonder why she's being targeted. Directed
to a man who handles drug business for the Kingpin, she arrives just in
time for his hideout to explode! Obligated to save all lives
Spider-Girl rushes in to try to save him, and discovers a group of
villians involved... Quickwire, Big Man, and of all people, Raptor!
Spider-Girl manages to save the drug racketeer, but gets defeated by
them. A shadowy figure directs traffic, telling them to secure the
criminal and leave her to recover.
Meanwhile, Normie is confronted by supposedly the same shadowy figure,
and is promptly gunned down!

Synopsis:
Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin, is dead.
Normie Osborn survives, and May is at his bedside at every spare
moment, and her heart is broken as he weakly asks for Brenda, a.k.a.
Raptor, in his sleep. MJ shows up to check on her as May heads to
school as Spider-Girl, making a quick stop to check on Canis. Canis
reveals that the South American gangster is known as the Black
Tarantula. Canis says that it's possible, but doubtful, that Mr. Nobody
is working for Black Tarantula, but says that Kaine's a mercenary who
specializes in the kind of wet work that sends a loud message, leaving
Spider-Girl to wonder if she was wrong about Kaine like she was about
Brenda. As she leaves, she runs into Nobody himself, who tips off
Spider-Girl about Kaine and his gang being at a location in the
afternoon, saying that she can catch them all in the act.
Heading to school May is left wondering who to trust and who not
to trust in this whole mess. Courtney then shows up to tell May that
Davida and Nancy are arguing in the gym. Davida lashes out at Nancy by
throwing a basketball at Nancy, and Nancy reacts instinctively, using
her mutant powers to deflect it back at Davida! The secret is out that
Nancy's a mutant, and Davida is none too happy about it. Meanwhile,
Peter and MJ plan a birthday party for May.
Back at school, news flies fast about Nancy being a mutant. The school
is divided on the matter, and Davida complains that Nancy was cheating
with her powers on the playing field. May says there's no proof on that
and David accuses May of defending her. May retorts by saying that
everyone's entitled to having secrets, and Davida comes back by asking
if May is a closet mutant. May retaliates by saying that if she was,
it'd be nice to know it would change the way she thought about her,
then storms away. As May leaves Davida gets a call from MJ about
planning the surprise party, and David reluctantly agrees to help.
May dons her Spider-Girl costume to head to the location Mr. Nobody
gave her, and sure enough, she finds Big Man, Quickwire, and Kaine all
together. Raptor suddenly shows up, and she and Spider-Girl tussle as
Spider-Girl accuses Raptor of betraying Normie and herself. Raptor
accuses Spider-Girl in turn, saying that she sees in black in white and
she's not always right, hating Spider-Girl for thinking she would want
to hurt Normie. Kaine breaks up the fight finally, and Spider-Girl asks
Raptor how she really feels about Normie; Raptor answers that she's in
love with him, sending Spider-Girl's emotions downward. It's when an
FBI agent named Arthur Weadon shows up, confirming that Kaine and
others are working for him.
The drug trafficker that Spider-Girl saved and they captured was
offered immunuity in exchange for his cooperation in the capture of
Black Tarantula. Spider-Girl is left more confused than ever, wondering
who killed the Kingpin if they're the good guys, and what happened to
Darkdevil.
Meanwhile... Darkdevil is being tortured by means of electrocution by
the real rogue... MR. NOBODY!

Synopsis: Agent Arthur Weadon debriefs Spider-Girl, Raptor, Big Man, Kaine, and Quickwire about the war on crime; the theory is that Mr. Nobody murdered the Kingpin and half a dozen other underworld leaders by the order of Fabian LeMuerto, a.k.a. the Black Tarantula; the inheritor of of not only his father's name, but his empire. But Spider-Girl doesn't understand why Black Tarantula would hire Mr. Nobody. Weadon is reluctant to answer Spider-Girl's questions, but after re-assurance from Kaine, he confirms that Mr. Nobody contacted the Tarantula after turning rogue from this apparent future version of the Thunderbolts. Spider-Girl is sure Nobody shot Normie and is responsible for Darkdevil's disappearance, but Weadon dismisses them as collateral damage. Spider-Girl gives up trying to convince the FBI agent after twenty pointless minutes and gets set to leave, but not before letting Raptor know Normie will make a full recovery, and reluctantly telling her that she thinks he's in love with Raptor.

Synopsis: Mr. Nobody is
captured, but he's exercising his right to remain silent.
He also stays true to his name, as Agent Weadon tells Spider-Girl that
Nobody must have his plastic surgeon on speed dial as he changes his
face quite often, and his fingerprints also turn up nothing. But the
cell phone he has will be all the proof he needs to tie him to the
Black Tarantula. After being excused, she's thanked by Raptor, but
Spider-Girl doesn't know how to react to her thanks, considering that
she's in love with her boyfriend Normie. Back at school May gets a
modest birthday cupcake from her friends, unaware that they're all
planning a big party with her mother to celebrate her 16th birthday.
But her birthday seems to be the furthest from May's mind as she thinks
about the Black Tarantula. She then runs into Sandra, who confronts her
about attacking Howard for no reason. May says she was defending
herself (which she was), but Sandra brushes it off as a lie, calling
May a "real monster!" A little while later JJ asks May if she's spoken
to Nancy since the incident with Davida. When May asks what's going on,
JJ tells her that rumors say Nancy may be suspended or even expelled
for using her powers against Davida. Concerned, May goes to Coach
Thompson about it. He lets May know that the school is going to punish
Nancy hard for attacking Davida. May tells Thompson what really
happened; David started it by throwing the basketball at Nancy and she
was only defending herself. But Thompson says that the bottom line is
that Davida's parents may sue the school for it, even suspending the
coach himself and making his team forfeit the season, saying that he
should have realized that one of his players had super-powers and an
unfair advantage over the other kids. Realizing that indirectly he was
also talking about her, May does the hardest thing she ever has to do,
and quits the basketball team.
Spider-Girl, with so much on her mind, does some web-slinging to clear
it, when it dawns on her; cell phones have been seen numerous times in
this case, and all the pieces fall into place for for her. So she
reaches for her own cell phone and calls Canis. Once they meet,
Spider-Girl puts the blame of all the crime lords and the Kingpin's
deaths on him. Canis says there were two attempts on his life, but
Spider-Girl says he arranged it; why would a professional assassin like
Mr. Nobody hire other gunmen to kill him when he used firebombs on
everyone else? He pretended to help by sending her after one of the
Kingpin's flunkies, but Mr. Nobody happened to beat her to him.
Spider-Girl says that Canis hired Nobody to kill off the competition so
that he would become the new Kingpin of Crime. Canis says it's a
interesting theory but she doesn't have any proof. Spider-Girl retorts
by saying the authorities have Nobody's cell phone, but Canis debunks
that claim by saying that if he were the mastermind she said he was he
would have arranged for him to get a new one on a daily basis so it
wouldn't be traced to him. With all the bases covered, Canis taunts
Spider-Girl, asking if she would beat a confession out of him, and
saying she wouldn't, because she doesn't believe in violence.
Frustrated, Spider-Girl web-slings away, Canis' laughter following her.
As Spider-Girl leaves she calls Weadon, and finds out Kaine and the
others have been beaten badly by the Black Tarantula himself. She then
gets hit by her Spider-Sense, but realizes that she's not in danger,
CANIS is. A part of her doesn't want to get involved, but the problem
is, she really doesn't believe in violence. Black Tarantula decimates
Canis and is about to kill him when Spider-Girl intervenes and fights
him off. Black Tarantula, however, is an extremely powerful foe, but
Spider-Girl's will is strong, fighting back as she proclaims "No one
dies on my watch!" Spider-Girl manages to convince Black Tarantula to
let Canis live, forcing him to confess and send him to jail. But Canis
says he still won, saying that if Fisk could rule his empire from
prison, so could he.
The crisis over, May goes to check on Normie, only to find him and
Raptor together. Choosing to not get in the way, she leaves for home.
Along the way she runs into Sandra, finding her in front of St.
Andrews, a shelter for abused women. Sandra apologizes to May for the
way she has been acting, and says she was right about Howard. May
sticks with Sandra through it, missing the birthday party for her
sixteenth birthday, going on at that very moment.

Synopsis: May's missed her birthday party, but it wasn't her fault as she was taking care of business as Spider-Girl. Peter isn't too thrilled that she was negotiating with the Black Tarantula, but May defends her decision, saying that he helped her capture Canis, but it worries Peter; why did he help her and what does he hope to gain? MJ wants to get her something special for her sixteenth birthday anyhow, and May says she'll give it some thought. When she gets to school, she and her friends find that Nancy's locker has been vandalized with anti-mutant paraphanalia. Brad says it was only a matter of time, and seems to defend what's happened, putting the blame on Nancy and surprising everyone. JJ gets in Brad's face about it, but May pulls them off. Brad thanks May for standing up for him, but May says that wasn't what happened, asking him where he stands on the situation with Nancy. Brad invites May to the coffee shop after school so he can explain himself, but May says she'll get back to him on that, hurrying to class, deep down not believing that Brad would use a hate crime as an excuse to ask her out. Meagyn Brady shows up and talks to May about overhearing some guys from the football team planning to give Nancy a hard time later that night. Sandra shows up a little bit later and thanks May for helping her start on the road to recovery. May notices Howard nearby, who runs off when May sees him. May reflects on when Howard attacked her, when she used her powers instinctively and almost broke his hand. Just like Nancy. She runs into Davida who seems like she tries to apologize, but May, a bit upset over all of this, retorts by yelling at her about how none of this would have happened if Davida hadn't gone after her.

Synopsis: We begin with
Spider-Girl saving a teen from getting hit by a
semi-truck, but after the teen tries to hit on her, she leaves quickly
in a bit of a huff. After hearing gunshots, she rushes to the scene to
find the Buzz taking out local thugs with rather excessive force.
Spider-Girl stops him from going too far, and finds out from him that
Dr. Sonja Jade, a scientist working for Dr. Octopus, might be back in
town. Spider-Girl offers to help, but Buzz declines, saying it's
personal. Spider-Girl can't help but wonder if he's still talking about
Jade or his failure with Nancy Lu.
At school, May's confronted by Coach Thompson, who lets her know things
are finally cooling off with the district basketball league and the
coach letting a mutant play against normal kids. Thompson wants to put
his basketball program back together and move on, and asks that May
reconsiders her decision to quit the team, but May's decision is final,
and she can't rejoin the team. An altercation soon breaks out between
JJ and Brad, Courtney and May quickly break it up, and JJ and May both
end up late for class. May sees JJ's hot temper, and is getting a
little scared of it. She asks him to keep it under control, and as she
hugs him, plants a spider tracer on him.
As Spider-Girl, she tracks down JJ, who enters a van... and buzz exits
it. Interesting, she muses to herself, as she goes to follow the Buzz.
Elsewhere, Thompson and May's father, Peter, get together for a night
on the town. Thompson asks Peter if he could help him convince May to
change her mind; Thompson could lose his job over this, and May's his
top scorer. He needs to prove he can still field a winning team.
Jade's men infiltrate a warehouse to steal a device that Jade wants,
but the Buzz stops them. Spider-Girl shows up to stop him from going
too far, but Buzz gets hit by a electromagnetic pulse from the copter
Jade's men departed from. It's up to Spider-Girl to rescue Buzz, and
with an unbelievable show of strength and power that nearly taxes her
limits, she saves him. Buzz is less than grateful, though, and flies
away, telling Spider-Girl to mind her own business.
While all that is going on, Davida confronts Brad about the fight he
had with JJ, but Brad ends up thanking Davida for exposing Nancy as a
mutant, and making Davida feel lower than ever about it all.
