Synopsis: The Midtown High gang attend a movie premier when a jealous actress named Misery attacks the movie's star. Spider-Girl thinks she has captured Misery after a short fight. May goes to school, gets accused of cheating on an essay, is kicked off the basketball team, and later her parents forbid her to be Spider-Girl anymore. The Green Goblin invades their home, beats May and kills both Peter and MJ! At the funeral, May defeats a second Green Goblin attack and realizes that this is all a hallucination. Spider-Girl discovers Misery had drugged her with a hallucinagenic gas and captures the villain.
