That cover is beautiful. Little disappointed that there was little action this issue. I look forward to having Shuri kick some butt. Things I liked about this issue:

*That cover was beautiful.
*Lazy me still has to do some research on what birds may mean. Messengers, yes,; but what else.

*Shuri- beautifully drawn, regal, and stepping up to the plate. I'm beginning to like this character.

*Much respect for T'Challa knowing his heart is divided on being king and adventurer. Admitted that the crown seems to fit better on his sister's head than his own. Nothing wrong with that. And really not a retcon. T'cha has always had a since of duty and honor. He's also respected the crown and tried to do justice to it. If you read back through the history of BP though, I think you can tell if he had a way out, he would take it. Not a knock against the character. In fact, it's nice to see some truth. My two cents.

* The political analysis of the situation. I love some of my teachers, but some of them...you have to wonder where are they living? I've known far too many who have 'believed their own myth'. That's probably why I didn't do too well in their classes. Teachers don't like to be told by their students that they don't know what they're talking about. \:\)

Revolution is never bloodless, there is always a price to pay; and you may go in with the best of intentions...but it always turns to poop. Not that there aren't some things worth fighting/dying to accomplish. However, I think some people enter into a fight far too easily.

Look at me getting on a soap box. Just like I was complaining about this book. hahaha. I like the storyline, I would just like some action to go with it. A little upset that Shuri seems ready to talk to Aneka...just kick her butt ( what was I saying about getting into a fight too easily). Hopefully next issue will be just as good. Glad that I stuck around.
