Sorry, I refuse to call Captain Marvel by his power word.

What do you think of this behind the scenes look?

To stay on topic, here's some fights for the comic version of the character.

Captain Marvel (Billy) Vs. Captain Marvel (the original, the one who died from cancer over at Marvel Comics).

Captain Marvel (Billy) Vs. DCEU Super Necksnapper (Henry Cavill's Superman)

Captain Marvel (Billy) Vs. He-Man

It's interesting that a hero/villain performs one amazing feat, or use a power they haven't used for 20+ years, and that automatically propels them to a high status despite scans and evidence to the contrary. I don't know what is worse, selective feat picking that has only been done once or twice 20, or more, years ago or ignoring evidence from scans or the lack thereof. We need to stop putting our favorite heroes/villains on pedestals and start putting them where they really belong. But it's evident that people never will because they would rather accuse others of cherry picking feats, when they don't, and being 'morally superior' when they aren't. I guess being honest and as fair as possible only opens one up to being the target of childish accusations and fault finding by those who insist on acting petty and childish. What happened to a good debate between two civil, mature, adults?

WOW COstume looks pretty close to the classic Captain Marvel. Can't wait to see how it looks post Digital SPFX!

I'm a huge Captain Marvel fan. One of the first comics I ever read was a Golden Books Story book with him and the entire Marvel family. Grew up watching the show in the 70's. I am an old school Marvel zombie but Captain Marvel was the one non Marvel character that I just adored.

Captain Amrvel vs Mar Vell - The power of SHAZAM is just too much for the KREE.

Nothing pleases me more than when Captain Marvel knocks Superman out cold.

Vs. He-Man is one that I would love to see! I'll go with Marvel on this one because He-Man is magically powered which gives him a slight edge on Superman but not against Marvel.

Oh, no thank you. The MOS suit is butt ugly.

To me Alex Ross' depiction of Captain Marvel is the definitive one for me. So anything else pales in comparison, Captain Marvel is a Superhero I would want to see as physically bigger than Superman since that form is based off a child's image of what a Superhero should look like (unless that got retconed lol).

From that picture I see fake muscles and a hoodie on the cape part so not too exciting but we'll see when more pictures come out.

Also Captain Marvel beats all three of these fights.
