Subj: Deadpool 16 & the DEADPOOL MOVIE...
Posted: Thu Aug 04, 2016 at 12:19:20 pm EDT (Viewed 180 times)

Just saw the DEADPOOL MOVIE for the first time on DVD and surely want to cast my vote that it was a very entertaining movie. Really like how they portrayed Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead too. His MCU Origin was very managable for a general movie going public and the inevitable true to character level of violence was reasonaably managable too. A sequel would definitely be must see!

As for Deadpool #16

The homage-lyricked cover had nothing to do with the story.
The story had nothing to do with the Civil War II banner.
The Deadpool content was nothing special like the movie was.
However, it was a pretty good SOLO story. SOLO brought an acceptable amount of fun to the ish. The other Mercs were wallflower duds. Also, we get all the origin details of Deadpool's newfound popularity - due to SOLO's masquerade. Inevitable and reasonable development on the Madcap front too.
