Wasn't that the year there was a Crisis? But Barry just traveled to 2024 to find out how to stop Savitar, and regular 2024 Barry was still there. Don't tell me fighting Savitar was the Crisis?!?!? OR is it really that sad that 2024 Barry was soon to disappear in the Crisis after only recently mending fences with the Flash family?!?! \:\(

That timeline hasn't changed has it? We haven't seen the newspaper article in a while...only the author changed. But Barry is still supposed to disappear in 2024, right?

If you're going to have 23 episodes a year, use them wisely!!!!

The article hasn't changed except for the author.

However I do not recall the article specifying the month or day that Flash vanishes, but I think we can safely say that the Crisis didn't start on Jan. 1st 2024 ;\)

Ok, smart alec; I forgot the date on the paper when Regular Barry arrived in 2024. ;\)

That's just wrong that he only has about three months (Feb- April) to reconnect with the team before he disappears in the Crisis.

Heck, when he gets back from that ( he has to or is that where/how he meets reverse flash?) he might be broken from that experience and become something worse than Savitar.

That presumes that Barry doesn't meet the same fate he did in issue 8 of Crisis. \:\)

I think the Barry that disappeared in 2024 is the Barry before Eobard messed with the timeline and killed Barry's mom. That Barry was married to Iris. That Barry didn't get his powers until 2020 instead of our Barry who got them 7 years early in late 2013.

There probably is a crisis with a fixed date in 2024. But that article wasn't about our Barry.

Personally I'm wondering if the Arrowverse might do a 7 year time jump. If they do a time jump:

1. We're in 2024 and they can do this crisis storyline for Flash
2. Oliver's son William who is about 11 now will be 18

There's too many episodes per season. Maybe Flash and Arrow would do better with like 13 episodes per season. Just cut out all the conversations where Barry realizes he has to go faster on Flash and flashbacks in Arrow and it works out \:\)

That might not happen...but I am wondering if he's going to go to the future to be with Iris and we'll meet their grandson Bart.

The article is April 25, 2024.

And while this means nothing...I think the episode Barry went to go meet his future self aired on April 25, 2017. So one might theorize that barry went to the future and landed in April 25, 2024...but I guess we don't know for sure.

Maybe Savitar killing Iris you know...saved the multiverse from the crisis that was coming in 2024.

Our Barry landed in 2024 on February 23rd(?) 2024, per the newspaper he picked up right before he 1st fought with Mirror Master and Top.

Remember RF/Wells1 always checked the newspaper in the time vault to make sure Flash disappeared around 4/24/2024.

After Flashpoint, during the Dominators crossover ( and are most current timeline), our Barry still disappears in Crisis 2024. The only thing that changed was the author of the newspaper article- originally Iris West-Allen, now somebody else.

Why was it so important to RF/Wells1 that Flash disappear in the Crisis? I think it has something to do with how RF got his powers.

I don't know if either series can successfully do a 7 yr timejump. Maybe a couple of months...3 yrs max.

OR his cousin Jenny (forgot her legion name). Actually, scratch that. These writers/editors are not the best when it comes to their female cast:

Caitlin: has to become a villain for character development
Iris: has to spend most of her time 'supporting' her man instead of working. Love the scenes between her and Barry, but c'mon!!!

Just so long as she doesn't go back to blogging. I couldn't take her seriously when she had a blog.
