I recently read DC's Green Lantern #15 from 1962. This issue features ) I believe)the second appearance of the villain, Sinestro, in "Peril of the Yellow World". It has always amazed me how many different yellow-based predicaments were created by DC writers to off-set GL's power ring which has no effect upon items of yellow color. Does anyone have a favorite story in which yellow inhibited the ring's function? Anyway, this was an enjoyable story. Green Lantern was able to think his way out of the predicament and ,unwarily, use Sinestro's ego against him. Really enjoyed the artwork by Gil Kane, I believe. the back-up story, "Zero Hour in Rocket City" pits GL against cunning non-super-powered thieves in a story written by GL's friend,Pieface. This story shows that GL could hold his own without the use of his ring when he thinks that the 24-hour power limit of the ring has been reached. A very good balance of stories made this an entertaining issue for me.
