Subj: Tom B teases a few interesting things about the Hulk... (edited) Posted: Wed Mar 10, 2010 at 12:29:53 am EST (Viewed 478 times)
Via Twitter... Q: I think its great that you are taking time to answer questions. Thank you. Will we see a return of Janis, Wild Man, and the Maestro from Peter David's run on the Hulk? TB: I don't know of any plans for Janis or the Wild Man right this moment, but there are things cooking in an unlikely place for a re-emergence of the Maestro. - Well... look who's finally digging himself out of the dirt. - I'm curious though how he's going to be used as it sounds like it may not actually be in a Hulk book. And in a way I was hoping they would hold off bring him back until they could build an appropriate event around him. At any rate, it's great news indeed, he's been gone waaay too long. Q: During Ragnarok, Thor got odin's power .This makes him the most powerful person in earth.Even then he was defeated by Red Hulk. How is that possible?Odin used his power to create earth.Rulk was created by bunch of peoples who lives in earth. by sarath123 TB: First off, Odin didn't literally create the Earth. Sure the Norse legends say that, but the Greek legends say that it was Zeus, and other legends say different things as well. Also, Thor died in Ragnarok and was resurrected, and precisely what that did to the Odinpower (not to mention the need to use it to reawaken the entirety of the Asgardian people who themselves had been reincarnated in mortal guises)is vague at best. Finally, we've seen it established that the Red Hulk is fueled by cosmic energy, and what is the Odinpower if not a form of cosmic energy/ So during their battle, it's likely that the Red Hulk was drawing on Thor's own power to fuel his fighting strength. - For those interested... Q: Any chance the Incredible Hulk will ever be seen in the pages of the Avengers again? If so, friend or foe? TB: Yes and yes. - It was inevitable, but there ya go. Of course, we don't know whether he'll join them, fight them or play parcheesi with them. Heh, I liked the last bit too - "Friend or Foe?"... "Yes." Q: A few months back I heard that Paul Pelletier was scheduled to do only ~6 issues on Incredible Hulk. Is this still the case? His work on that book is tremendous, I'm hoping he'll stay on as the ongoing penciler. TB: I believe he's on through WORLD WAR HULKS at least. - Be sure to let Marvel know we want Pelletier to stay on IH every chance you get! Cheers! C.
