Did you ever end up reading this issue? Did you like S.K.I.N. armor back then? Do you like it more or less now?

How 'bout: Maintaining his secret ID from Rumiko? First attack from Sons Of Yinsen? Psych counseling from Jocasta? Lots of content for a bonus giveaway issue.

Was that the armor that drained life force or hurt him the longer he wore it?

No, that was the original Heroes Return armor by Sean Chen. It was changed to the prototype armor in Fantastic Four Vol. 3 #15 and IM Vol. 3 #14.

This was when Busiek was still writing and before the Whiplash incident that created the Sentient armor that Joe Quesada created. This was the armor that gave Tony it's heart when Tony had a heart attack.

I did not enjoy a lot of these issues because they turn Tony into an imbecile. He couldn't figure out Y2K. He lost his company and couldn't function as a businessman. He couldn't figure out solutions to many simple problems. And, the art turned very bad.

I miss Tony as a functional businessman, as a core foundational builder of the Marvel Universe, and as an ethical person and hero.
