Punisher 004

Unfortunately, this tale has taken a turn for the run-of-the-mill. The Punisher survives a bout against a jobbing A-list supervillain with floundering conviction and a gang of armed losers that make Willie Lumpkin look more hard-core. He was chained with cuffs less durable than peanut brittle and he escaped an explosion bigger than this issue will ever be by the easiest peasiest way - by outrunning the massive blast... from ground zero... between panels!

There's the boring poser cover.

There's the unnecessary twist on Electro's power where he can now fry your brain such that your memories can mix with hallucinations - all as story device to show a skewed Nuff Said flashback of Punisher's origin.

There's a page of his newest ladycop friend just doing exercises off-duty.

There's a bit more attention given to the newest Howling Commandos that make them look a bit more like blind idiots following the newest unexplained change of plans to simply kill Castle.

There wasn't even a good quotable line that comes to mind. The only interesting parts were Tuggs talking to Frank, Tuggs bonding with the coyote, Tuggs getting mysteriously abducted. Tuggs and the last panel appearance of a new player that's teaming up with this whole AIM mess that looks curiously like Domino.
