PBP reactions especially for those who have read it...

00 This was generally an okay wrap up for series that started on fire and quickly cooled. The cover says everything that readers have waited for since the debatable direction of Johnny Blaze, the Ghost Rider, being cursed by an evil angel to bear the power of a Spirit of Vengeance created by God.

01 Awesome recap page script. Better than many many many a PrevPage!

02 Excellent title page. Many a story teller might waste space and make this same image a double spread.

03 Okay, right there is the crack in his armor. He is acting like a spoiled child not a super god. Things look promising for our heroes who appear down and out.

04 Not a fan of the new Caretaker being a ninja-nun too where as The Deacon has been a fairly entertaining adversary. Was sort of rooting for the bad guy here.

05 Roxanne! A sight for sore eyes! Especially having been with GR since almost the beginning.

06 Good emotion from Blaze. Can empathize with Danny shutting up and listening for a change.

07 "DIDN'T WE DO THIS DANCE ALREADY." You have to admit he still must feel he's got the lead but...

08 Change of dance partners! Thought Roxanne were pointing to angels - neat surprise. (Even though not a fan of the GLC ..er.. I mean Ghost Riders Corps.)

09 Ooooh: http://www.comicvine.com/anton-satan/29-64750/ Kid Blackheart has nothing to do with the one from the DD series. Oh well, that could make him just a throwaway as in he could die here - uncertainty with the outcome is a good thing.

10-11 Not a fan of the GRC or some double splash pages but this one is a good turning point and good line so it works. Kind of an anticlimactic defeat of Z at the same time.

12-14 Three pages of nobodies doing nothing but a montage massacre. (At least Phantom Rider gets a clear cameo.)

15 Sara wins. Whoop dee do.

16 Cutter emerged as a new fave character and all she gets is a kiss off. (And gonna overlook any Hellstrom continuity nitpicks this PBP.)

17-18 God is good... except to you Johnny Blaze. Understandable comeback in that context.

19 Good to get this closure with the rest of the characters but much too rushed. (Is that GR acting like a dog?!)

20-22 Three pages of riding into the sunset. That is one looong sunset and things look brighter for Johnny Blaze.



Well, who else stuck with this series? How was it for you? Is Deadpool Team-Up #897 with GR any good and this series before or after it?
