I used to read the 90's series some. Might be cool on the big screen. Or maybe a Netflix series?

I think a Netflix series could be very possible. I could see Darkhawk as a member of the TV Defenders. Also, the alien connection is something the Defenders don't have right now.

Now that Dr. Strange and the recent Agents of SHIELD season have brought magic into the MCU, I'd like to see Blade the Vampire hunter return.

A netflix series for him would be great.

Also a netflix Ghost Rider series, but only if it is Dan Ketch of Johnny Blaze, NOT Robbie Reyes

No. No demand.

I don't think so. A Netflix series might be cool. I imagine that he will appear in The New Warriors cartoon (When does that come on, again?). Then again, did anyone ever think that Ant Man would get a movie?

PS- I like Chris, too. Is he still alive and kicking?

Yeah, but there was no demand for Blade prior to the movie. Nor for Guardians of the Galaxy. Nor Ant Man. TV and the silver screen can make stars out of unexpected properties.

To me, the important question is whether the character has an interesting or dramatic story line, and I think Darkhawk definitely does.

Agreed. Frankly, I think Marvel Picture's only future lies it generating marks that have zero demand until they're announced.

The original origin of where the amulets came from sucked ass. Granted the War of Kings retcon more or less invalidated the entire Darkhawk mythology...but that was a good thing IMO.

Making more Darkhawks only cheapens what was a good character concept.

Keeping the original series origin does nothing to alleviate that concern. You had Portal, Evilhawk, Overhawk, St. Johnny, Ocsh etc

The Fraternity of Raptors turned them into power rangers I guess...but it was easier for me to keep track of.

Lena Dunham would be perfect as Man Thing.

That is alleviated. They're each quite unique characters instead of hopelessly faceless and generic.

Well I actually liked the generic nature of Razor, Talon and Gyre as members of this larger army (that we never quite got). Evilhawk, Overhawk etc were individuals (well Overhawk may have been an amalgam of a few people) but they sucked. And that origin was horrible.

This was the one instance where I preferred the retcon to the original.
