Well the character was on my suspect list, and yes this return will please many and anger some even though this return was of course, inevitable.

It was another one on my list,.......someone whose return story should be mildly interesting, but now there will be three characters with this name running around....how long until their can be only one...............

WOLVERINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes that's right everyone, the overlord of Marvel mutants, the most over used and many times badly used character who crosses over and appears in every mutant and Avengers book, who for years had the healing/cop out factor that functioned beyond Highlander levels of regeneration is back!

How has he returned? was he really dead? is this a clone made by Sinister? Why and HOW does he have an infinity gem?

To be honest, I'm having trouble getting excited about this inevitable return. Bringing back Wolverine takes no guts or courage, and while his death did appear to be rather permanent what with being encased in adamantium minus his healing powers, every one knew he'd be back.

That's like Adam Warlock dying again? So what? he is apart from Chaos and Order/Life and Death. of course he will be back. Sadly the same with the Magus......

The Fantastic Four is currently only 2, and Marvel wants to devalue the property so that if they buy it back from Fox it will be dirt cheap, or they wait until 2022 when the rights revert. Their return is inevitable.

Heck even the ANDROID HUMAN TORCH getting blwon up and knocked offline doesn't mean much since one day someone will repair him and trot him out for the next anniversary of the golden age characters, which is why his old pal TORO was revived years ago.

Richard Ryder returning from the Cancerverse was inevitable.

But Captain Mar-vell? Now that is a return worth telling. I've said before there are many stories to be told about a man who actually DID DIE and go into the light who finally returns for good. How many heroes would be glad he's back? How many would be concerned about things such as the balance between life and death? (Dr Strange). How would Marv's enemies react? How would THANOS react? How would the universe in general react? his illness/death was galactic news as it were.

Once upon a time a writer named Brubaker had the guts and the skills to come up with a way to get BUCKY off the "never revive from the dead" list. Who will be the one that dares do the same for Captain Mar-Vell?
(besides me, of course \:\) )

Not many characters have truly died in the MU and returned. Many of the so called "resurrections" were explained as them never being dead, or a duplicated died in their place, or some other explanation, sometimes Deus Ex Machina writing because there was no other way.

The Punisher, he died and became an agent of Heaven until he told them to stick it and they cast him back to the world of the living.

Johnny Blaze: he was tricked by agents of the devil, shot and killed and his soul was still bound for hell but with the power of the Ghost Rider with him. He escapes and thus comes back to life, drives the devil back off of Earth and then helps save heaven itself.

Tony Stark: Deus Ex machina writing brought him back after The Crossing/Heroes Reborn/Return and again after he was corrupted and killed before Secret War

Captain America: apparently shot and killed, but later revealed as alive and quantum leaping through his own life until he got free.

Aunt May: died a touching death in ASM 400, retconned back with the explanation it was a doppelganger sent by Norman Osborn that died. Then of course years later she is dying and we get the Mephisto Mindwipe.

Norman Osborn: retconned back in a desperate move to end Clone Saga 2, retconned into having a Wolverine level healing power from the goblin serum.

Roderick Kingsley the real Hobgoblin: retconned back by revealing that Ned Leeds was never the real Hobgoblin but a decoy (which made sense). Now any time a Hobgoblin dies we take it with a grain of salt knowing it was a decoy.

Android Human Torch: for years believed to have been reformatted into the Vision, thus he was dead. Years later revealed that he and the Vision are separate but the same thanks to Immortus altering time.
