With Mephisto showing up in Scarlet Spider, and the very demony look for the Red Goblin, I hope we're seeing a OMD resolution in what could be Slott's potential swansong.

Slott said that there is no way that he would ever leave the book (Short of a firing.).

It sounds like Slott is leaving, and it sounds like Norman will REDISCOVER that Peter is Spider-Man again. Hence the line about Peter and his friends being in danger. This sounds interesting, at least.

Gee, I don't know.....could it be from the SOLICIT for the issue?

Or from the assorted news sites on the internet that anyone can read?

I've been pondering another essay on Dan Slott's writing based on my acquisitions from this year's Baltimore Comic-Con. It may be worth holding off a few months on that and putting together some thoughts on Slott's run as a whole. I will say that the notion of picking up Amazing Spider-Man first run again has me feeling all warm inside.

Sometimes an employer will let you quit instead of firing you so you can save face.

Hopefully with Bendis leaving there is a shift at Marvel and they're delousing the company.
