Amazing Spider-Man 793 (2018)

The Super Powered Fancast - Deron Generally

    Dec 27, 2017

As a diversion from the fall of Parker storyline, this issue does a good job of concentrating on another sin from Spider-Man's past. Read Full Review

Is Peter struggling as much as he has before when possessed? He'll probably just brush off this evil the way he did SpOck.

    DisKingdom(dot)com - Roger Palmer

    Dec 28, 2017

A great issue of Amazing Spider-Man, with lots of interactions with other Spider characters like Venom, Black Cat and Anti-Venom, however we don't really get to see much development of the main villain, Maniac. But it's the bad “Superman 3” style Spider-Man that is so interesting. Read Full Review

    AiPT! - David Brooke

Good action and great art make this a fun read. Read Full Review

Some good stuff. But Anti-Venom being carboncoated by fire and then Flash punching thru the chest cavity looked awfully odd.

    GWW - Eric Butler

I can't wait to see where it goes from here. Read Full Review

Not excited yet.

    Comic Watch - John Jack

Loved Venomized Spider-Man, he was cracking me up, a bunch happened this issue I didn't describe I highly recommend picking it up. The end was pretty great although wholly expected. Anyone who likes Spidey or Venom or any of their stories will likely enjoy this crossover. Read Full Review

Andi/Flash dialogue was bad. Felicia motivation was unconvincing. Brock packing heat was dumbfounding.

    Newsarama - David Pepose

    Dec 28, 2017

A solid book, even if this is one of the weaker Spidey-events in recent history. Read Full Review

"one of the weaker Spidey-events"

    Superior Spider-Talk - Dan Gvozden

The "Venom Inc." crossover remains a mixed back as it enters its latter half, featuring a muddled, action-over-character oriented story but sparking to life in its McFarlane inspired visuals. By this issue's end there's a spark of intrigue that's undermined by the story's overcomplicated machinations. Read Full Review

"overcomplicated machinations"

Monkeys Fighting Robots - Brandon J. Griffin

    Dec 30, 2017

"Venom Inc." is a chore to get through. Symbiotes don't really move the needle anymore, especially not when centered Lee Price. This story makes me miss Mac Gargan. Read Full Review

Klyntar retcon really ruined the Symbiote superbeing society.

    Bleeding Cool - Joshua Davison

I could tentatively recommend this one, even with the increasingly convoluted plotline. However, the dialogue sinks this ship. I wouldnt even still be reading this if it werent for the fact that Ive already read half of Venom Inc. The humor is insufferable, and the solid artwork cant save it. Give this one a pass. Seem to recall that for some reason the spreading possession of Carnage during his past mini felt more convincing. Also, nobody noted how the WRONG cover image was disappointing. It should be Robbie not JJJ.
