Marriage does't make sense since most Amercan men aren't married anymore.

I'd like you to cite a source there, especially accounting for age, region, and income. Unless that was sarcasm.

No matter what, as a man who isn't married (I'm still fairly young) I want the marriage back. Hell, they undid it when I was the age they claimed they were aiming for (I think I was in college) and I dropped the book like a bad habit three months into "Brand New Day."

Besides, most men also aren't billionaires, but didn't they try to make that a thing?

Of course, none of this matters, because Pete and MJ WILL remember they were married in ASM #800, just in time to kill her off on the last page.

You do know DC have been kicking Marvel's backside lately using a married Superman and an engaged Batman right?

Also Peter and MJ are still married in at least two other ongoing continuities, OMD never really achieved anything.

Well it's not like they had faith in the marriage the first time around as the new 52 shows us.
