Subj: Was that Rucka's last issue because

there were a lot of things wrong with it, and I would greatly dislike if that were the end of his run.

- Veronica Cale. UGH. I tried to give her a chance, really I did. She just lacks personality to me. Meh. And did she get superpowers some how? Cheetah's cuts should EASILY have killed her. I would have much preferred Dr. Cyber be the villain. Smart as heck, but a little playful, a little 'off'. Wonder Woman would never know what to expect of her.

-Etta. First get rid of that haircut. I can't believe how much that irks me, but it does. Second, get over Barbara. She made her choice and now she has to live with it. I really do not believe that her re-sacrificing herself to become Cheetah was necessary. If I was Themiscarya (sp?) I wouldn't have let her in either.

-The art. I forgot who drew this issue but I really miss Nicola. WW looked flat, and Cheetah looked like a sexually ambiguous blockhead. Really, I couldn't tell she was a woman and her head seemed so square. And again, if Cheetah is to be taken seriously, the cuts she gave Veronica should have killed her almost instantly. If Veronica didn't die from blood loss, or being thrown through a window to the ground; at least that stab wound to the kidney ( ALL THE WAY THROUGH) should have killed her.

-Steve. am I developing a crush on this man?!?! lol. He speaks plainly and honestly. Just what Diana needs. Not that she'll always listen, but it's nice to have someone in her corner like that; especially since she won't be having her lasso for a minute.

Are others going to try out the new temporary writers? I think I'll wait for the trade to come out. I'm not familiar with either the writer or the artist other work so why not save some coin.

Still not sure how I feel about Robinson and group taking over later. I LOVED the initial world building her was doing with Justice Society ( Hawkgirl and Flash were my favorites), but he can be the decompression king. Not sure that I can stand for him to take forever to tell a story. Also, just like AZZ I either LOVE or GREATLY DISLIKE his work. Since I didn't like Azz's take on WW, this might be a bad omen.

Oh well. We shall see what we shall see.
