Wonder Woman/Conan 005

> The road to Shamar is long—and thralls of the Corvidae threaten every step. But Conan will persevere in Diana’s quest to protect the town…though he might be equally interested in revenge against the slaver who sold them into peril on the high seas! Co-published with Dark Horse Comics!

There's been near nada reaction to this series so far. This was a very good chapter - and might generate the desired traffic. Stuff happened - besides the title pair just trekking along. Things happened at a fast pace right up to the surprising surprise twist ending which readers must realize must twist back again since there is one more issue to go.

The opening page was poetry. The introduction of The Amazons into the story was most welcome (and overdue); especially, the sweet bonus inclusion of Artemis. Take that you filthy crow emissary! \:\) The reduced amount of trek time with Conan and Diana partnership was engaging. Surprisingly giving Conan a bracelet was interesting. Facing off against the powerful Corvidae sisters was exciting. And then there's Yanna! Then things twist - Conan succumbs to temptation but can't heroically fight it?! Diana won't fight him but isn't the one that saves them all?! Yanna is lost again but Wonder Woman leaves?! And then there's one more -even bigger- surprise gift to end the ish. Definitely, looking forward to see what happens in the conclusion.

The SIDEWAYS backup story intro bonus was visually neat and seems worth trying too.

The Neal Adams variant cover looks brilliant, eh!:
