The Brave and the Bold: Batman and Wonder Woman #1
So. Diana and Steve are friends with benefits. As dubious as this status-quo friendly is (pun intended), their opening pre-marital scene and adult playfulness was the most engaging part (pun intended) of the the book. However, it did seem uncharacteristically selfish (or is it selfishly uncharacteristic?) that she would put "peace on earth/good will toward man) on hold for an extra hour of snu snu. The only other compelling part of the book was the fantastic art of the unpronouncable faerie world. Other than that, it was a droning setup to get Diana as a peacemaker arbitrator for a dimension from Celtic Folklore. And the other half of the story has Batman getting terrified in the Irish Quarter presents him as a raTher rank amateur as he walks right into an underwhelming magical trap. They don't even team up or meet as the misleading solicit promises. Just might have to pass on this.
