According to Morrison, everything Emma ever did was awesome, and Scott couldn't live without her, nor the X-Men, and "all Jean ever did was die," which was a HUGE LIE. And this continued afterwards, with eventually the entire team stepping in line with the "Emma is awesome" crap (and it is a pile of it).

The way Morrison played favourites with Emma and the way he dropped the ball in the process (as things stand, one can argue that Scott only fell in love with her because she brainwashed him into believing he loved her) is why I jocularly suggested that GM turned Emma back into a villain. \:\-\)
