Quote:No. Not Georgetown! Bizarre that Waid would make this error.
616 Hickory Branch Lane
Cherrydale, Arlington, Virginia
It's important that it be Virginia, hence Mrs. Vision's name. Also, Georgetown really isn't fitting with the suburbia setting. Georgetown is kind of inner city. Maybe neighbours complained so they moved the house?
Thanks (- thought it was strange).
Quote:Just shows why some of us have been calling him NINO all this time. By that logic, Sam should stop using the helmet completely.
He's got some good backstory/family elements. Rich should help him establish/obtain a unique identity of his own.
Quote:Yes, Virginia was from and old copy of Wanda's engrams.
Viv and Vin were from a blending of Vizh's and Wanda's engrams.
There should be no great mystery here.
Oh yeah. Missed opp for the proud papa to tell Waspnadia -and remind readers- in that scene.
Quote:Well, of course the casket is empty. There were no remains. Viv's body went into the portal. This body is a re-creation.
There was no doubt here, but at the end of 674 it was open to interpretation, IMO.
Quote:That thought has crossed my mind. Or it could be that the rebooted Viv synthezoid is a dupe mockery as Nadia was suggesting.
Well, assumed that if it was going to be H.E. he would 'dupe' the team into believing -whatever body he is in- is the real Viv to build to a trope/cliche climax that heores must decide which one is the Real McCoy.
Quote:How does the new fleshy body get created?
Alluded to this question when guessed "his Lab is the better choice". It was more of a sarcastic observation. It really should be near impossible to crank out new sentient synthezoids even though he's arguably done it 4 times with his family. 5 counting the dog. Not having engrams is a key limitation. Maybe he was meant to be silent 'cuz he was going to ask Nadia exclusively for hers or somehow planned to blend his with hers. But that seems logically wrong if the emotion connected to the digitized memory results in a likely aberation. He did seem to suggest he just wanted to say 'goodbye' even if Viv could only give a cold programmed response. (Think Data saying bye to Lal?) But that seems emotionally wrong given how Vision should be characterized. Hmm... Her absence on next issue's legacy-spewing cover offers no clue.
I miss Dad & Dan.
