I like to get my comics signed too. But, the price gauging is starting to bug me. I don't know if it's the creator, or the money people who run the shows, but some of the charges are absurd. Rob Liefeld wanted $85 to autograph Deadpool's first appearance. It was $120 for Stan Lee's autograph, last time I saw him. Mercifully, I already had his autograph, from back when the cost was only $50, so I didn't shell out for another one. A lot of the autographs are free, though. I managed to get 3 from Neal Adams before he started charging. I got a few from George Perez, a really nice guy. The nicest people were Walt and Louise Simonson. Their autographs were free, and they let me take a great photo of them. And I got Kevin Conroy to autograph the Batman comic that was the source material for the Laughing Fish story in the Batman animated series. That one makes me smile. | |||||||
