The Challenger's origin is fascinating. Kind of guessed right about that, last post \:\) . https://s14.postimg.org/3wujron2p/CHALLENGER.jpg The story is very safe skirting around cameoing the full Elders line up and the details of the "Retconned Incursion". Kind of surprising how Marvel is still perpetuating the gimmick detail of each Elder as the LAST SURVIVOR of their race. That's a pretty cold final bet to end your brother's existence to gain "membership". Nitpick or dangler that Carina http://www.marvunapp.com/Appendix/carinaav.htm was the daughter of The Collector which technically arguably should've negated his claim to Elder ranking?

I thought they meant Challenger was Grandmaster's brother in a we're best friends and call ourselves brothers way not in a literal we have the same biological parents way. I don't even think they're the same species...Challenger is grey and Grandmaster is blue. I don't think Grandmaster had to get rid of Challenger to become accepted as an Elder...they were both elders (from different races IMO). Grandmaster just wanted the name Grandmaster. Really petty.

I don't see what Challenger is so upset about. Sure he spent eternity in a timeless limbo but he agreed to that when he played the game. Sore loser.
