Its not bad, I did like a lot of the dialogue. I would like to know why the boys seemed to have such a problem with it,
I mean you Selina is a criminal and all, I can see some of the boys having a problem with it, but not neccessarily all of them. It seemed to be a mob mentality thing. I would like to see all of the boys, including Alfred talk about it individually.
Also, this seems to continue the current trend of writing stories for the trade paper back. Part 2, or future parts, seem to be better than pt 1.

What can I say about this issue? Nothing because nothing happened. In the old days when kids stayed off my lawn, this was 2 panels.

There is a lot of dad space. Just pictures with no dialog in the desert. Didn’t like the shooting of a horse.

Agree Cat’s takedown of Steroid Man was told not shown, a failing common to King’s story telling style.

We don’t know really what anyone thinks, not really. Is Alfred happy? Do not know the boys, get a sense but again not really.

King dialog is not your enemy, just ask Elmore Leonard.

A whole issue to set up next issue’s fight. Man I hate this decompressed story telling.

To be fair, the art was really good, really good, though I do think Bats would have less obvious desert gear.

Overall slow, and I really feel that Selina has written as more of a plot device tha an actual character under King. We really do not know what she thinks or even feels. This is a rich character, use her well Tom.

Or I could be wrong.
