I think that some interesting stories are going to come from this, but I say no! It's ongoing fiction, so other writers are going to have to follow and work with it (King won't be on the book forever.), and what's going to happen with the Justice League and when he goes on League missions? Now, I HATE Batman being on the Justice League (Or even leading them.), but will he now have to bring Catwoman with him? And I doubt that DC will ever divorce them, and if they have any type of marital friction it can't really go anywhere. I just see too many complications. II am surprised that DC is doing this, and I am SOMEWHAT curious to see what happens. I just don't think that this fits Batman, per se!

Like Quinn said, a single Batman is kind of old. On the other hand, he's been single for sooo long, that a married Batman wouldn't feel ... right.

The fact that he even asked Selina feels a little forced. He did it to please his father (of the flashpoint timeline). Then he went to the woman who had been the greatest love of his life. Trouble is that woman is has also been an adversary as much as a love interest.

I don't really expect a marriage to last. Somehow I can't see Batman getting that much of a happy ending. A happy ending would change the pessimism that is at the heart of the Batman mythology.
