With Panther’s cinematic debut I was really anticipating a large omni. Thor Ragnarok got about five! Two for Thor, two for Hulk and even one for Loki. But Panther has exactly zero. Why? I asked one of the guys at a large comic book store and he says Marvel think the demographic (black) wouldn’t support the expensive premium format. This sounds way off to me, but it’s really, really odd that there’s nothing.

With Marvel I've been collecting the "epic collection" TPBs. (but I have been collecting the DC silver age omnibuses)

    Quote:
My hope with the epic collections is that the line will continue until everything from the ongoing series that they're putting out (Avengers, Fantastic Four, Amazing Spider-Man, Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, Moon Knight, Black Panther etc) will be collected up until Heroes Reborn.

So like all of Avengers vol 1, Fantastic Four volume 1 etc.

I'll check out those Epic lines, cheers. BTW I just heard another explanation which was something about the masterworks line not being sufficiently advanced yet to allow for an Omnibus, but again that's odd as this movie's been in the pipeline for years.
