I detected a sneaky comparison of Rage to BLM poster boy Michael Brown when Harry Hausen paraphrases what the police said with regards to Brown when they mitigated the fact that he was 'only a teenager' by explaining that he was in fact a pretty damn big, strong, and violent teenager.

The main difference between Rage and Brown however is that Brown was guilty of the crime he was accused of - not that Nick Spencer seems to believe this.

Well Rage murdered the guy who led the gang that killed his grandmother. And then Night Thrasher 1 lied to the cops and the DA's office and got the case dismissed.

So the justice system has worked in Rage's favor when he's been guilty. Now when he's innocent and deprived of Dwayne Taylor's fortune it doesn't.

Speed Demon met a lot of innocent people in jail, and they were all black apparantly. Yadda, yadda.

I spent a number of years working in the prison system and I didnt meet many innocent people of any skin colour. Sure, there are proportionally more ethnic minorities in the prison system, but there are much more relevant and proven reasons for that than racism - at least not the direct racism of corrupt police officers deliberately targeting black people and fitting them up that Spencer is clearly alluding to.

Sams video evidence isnt admissable and the court wants to challenge the legality of how it was obtained. Utter rubbish! Theres nothing illegal about getting your phone out to film a police incident even covertly, so I'm pretty sure that recording an incident via pigeon wouldnt be breaking any laws either.

As usual Spencer is trying to make a valid point, but as always he positively oozes bias and lacks any kind of balance, so what we end up with is a 100% white, 100% racist police force, enforcing 100% punitive and unjustafiable laws against a 100% black, 100% innocent community - absolutely nothing like real life of course.
