Well, Hickman opened the floodgates with his recontamination of the origin of HYDRA to Ancient times. And then Mayberry perpetuated the mystism angle, with the Captain America: Hail Hydra mini, to add to the super soldier science fiction origins that was the first canon origin theme, right?



Hmm... Can anyone cite if Lee/Kirby ever gave evidence of what the age of HYDRA was? And now Kobik brings a temporal twist to HYDRA's ultimate goals. Just read this (confusing) article:

Say what? Does anyone know if this is a confirmed spoiler reveal or just speculation from the news site reporter? Does anyone have link confirmation if true? IF it is, it's seems as problematic as when Mephisto erased Peter's personal history - and as disturbing as Thor's long overdue Whisper reveal was this week.
