Subj: As with all such events, I'm just curious as to how they can eventually reset this. they've made it very hard, but I do have a thought.

Well, yesterday I read the ABC News and Newsarama articles regarding Marvel's plea to the readers to give them some more time regarding Steve Rogers being portrayed first as an secret agent of Hydra for nearly his entire life, and now as its leader, overtly and aggressively attempting to take over the world. I was one of those who was already giving Marvel a chance.

Then I read Secret Empire #1.

Marvel must have already been getting a severe reaction from those with advance copies of this issue, and decided to get out in front of the situation. Good try, but although it might raise the sales for this particular issue, for me at least it left some images that cannot be erased.

What are your thoughts?

The eventual reset may split Marvel into two universes again, with this universe with all of it's replacement heroes left to rebuild after the death of Cap and the fall of Hydra, and the other universe being MU proper maybe as it was pre-Avengers Disassembled.
