I just noticed that to get to Cap #695 the following was not counted:

    -Captain America and Bucky #620-628
    -Captain America and Hawkeye #629-632
-Captain America and Iron Man #633-635
    -Captain America and Namor #635.1
-Captain America and Black Widow #636-640

This series continues from the main series, which was part of the original Tales of Suspense numbering that lead to Cap #100 and all that followed. Marvel counted TOS #1-99, but the above legacy numbering does not count? They would likely argue that the title at this time became the secondary Cap title, but you can't have it both ways. It looks like a poor attempt to reach a fake #700 milestone when in fact the title should be way past that.

Sometimes (well, recently it's more like quite a bit) Marvel is kind of pathetic...

It is pathetic. That said the .1 issues shouldn't count towards the numbering.
