I have the issue right here. Gladiator is disguised when he first appeared. Thor is fighting but Gladiator kicks the hammer away. Thor reverts to Jake Olson. Tarene jumps in and Thor gets his hammer back and from that point on COMPLETELY dominates Gladiator. He has Gladiator down is picking him up by the mohawk. The airplane in trouble saves Gladiator as they work to save it then Gladiator comes after Thor and gets his butt handed to him by Thor. Gladiator eats pavement and the fight is over. Tarene shows up when Gladiator is down and out with a bolt of power as a bit of revenge for the earlier battle. Thor says he was holding back and Gladiator admits Thor was to powerful for him. You cherry pick a page and ignore the rest of the book.
The Jane fight went just like I said as well. Frankly I don't care for her so that one is fine.

You missed the scene which shows Thor was knocked out before he was reverted to Jake Olson.

Thor momentarily downed Gladiator with several two handed mjolnir shots and energy blasts. Gladiator knocked him out in two punches. Not hard to see who was superior to whom.

Didn't miss anything- In the end Thor wiped the ground with Gladiators face. As soon as Thor stops holding back the fight is over. Gladiator doesn't land another punch while Thor crushes him. Gladiator admits it. Thor is clearly superior.
