The Fraction fight did not even have Galactus throw a punch. Odin downed himself with his own headbutt. That was such a poorly executed battle in most respects.
I complained about this for day one. After 40 years of never battling each these two titans only do a head butt. Really guys, a head butt? Sad so sad.

Yeah, pretty much. I mean, I liked the fact that they were using telepathy against each other. I think these godly beings should be fighting in ways beyond just punching. But it would have been cool to see the power cosmic's uses against the odinpower in more ways than just telepathy.
I have no idea what Fraction thought to accomplish by this non fight? I expected way more.

One could say though that Galactus was already battling Asgard on his own minus Surfer. Odin had his army and Galactus had PC constructs to battle them.
Galactus has no army because he is his own army. Amazing that he felt he needed one to fight Asgard.

    Quote:
Galactus had to expend some of his power reserves to create those constructs, which affected how much he had in reserve. Which I suppose furthers my argument that Galactus is more powerful than Odin. As Odin seemed worse off after the fight than Galactus.
The fact that Odin knocked Galactus out in the first place (with a lame headbutt) is a feat in itself seeing how it took 3 Celestials to knock out Galactus. I ould have loved to see a Odin/Destroyer vs Galactus but was denied such delight.
