    Quote:
I'm just wondering, with all of these sexual harassment allegations (Which I don't entirely believe.) coming out against musicians, entertainers, actors, etc, is it possible to enjoy their work after these alleged accusations? I would say that it is possible, but sometimes difficult. I think of Mel Gibson, for example. People thought that he was finished after his anti-Semitic rant was publicized, but he did make a comeback (Although it did take a few years.). And Hacksaw Ridge was a big hit. I'm sure that there are still some people out there who won't see anything else that he does or appears is, but I think that in his case, it certainly is possible. I also think that sometimes controversy like this causes an increase in sales and the like. I would say that Kevin Spacey (If everything turns out to be true.) and Louis C.K are tougher to overlook. I certainly don't think that shows, movies, etc should be canceled just because of some allegations. After all, OTHER people worked on those shows and films as well. And a HECK of a lot of musicians have had legal problems, but their music still sells. So yes, I think that might be what we need to start doing.

I think Mel deserves a little bit more of a break than the molesters though. What did he do? He said a lot of stupid hateful things while drunk out of his mind. He has not just said he was sorry he did serious attempts at restitution to the point I was reading articles from Jewish writers of some standing who had originally condemned him asking for others to let it go.

Its possible top separate but not easy...and it also depends on WHAT the crime is.
