If there wasn't a Netflix show, then I'd say yeah. But with the comics trying to get the synergy of the Netflix shows (new Defenders comics, Jessica Jones comic, Power Man and Iron Fist comic becoming Luke Cage comic), I'd say no.

Plus all the satellite Daredevil comics now like Elektra, Kingpin and Bullseye.

Heck, they might be setting Blindspot up to get his own comic spinoff. Nothing wrong with building up a replacement-in-training. Danny has Pei now. And Luke has Shades' son the new Power Man.

But, let's say for devil's advocate, Matt does get replaced.

It would only be temporary, and Matt's never had a long "comic book death" like so many other major characters.

But I don't think that's the case since Bendis has him in Defenders.

Aren't they releasing a defenders book soon. do you think that they would keep DD in that series for fans of the show and have a new DD in a solo book. It's like how there is a bunch of different spidermen/women now all in different books.
